Genet Jeanjean is a senior advisor and associate partner at Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a highly specialized, global advisory firm serving family enterprises. Cambridge Advisors and Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise, and education and research institute, are divisions of Cambridge Family Enterprise Group, a global organization founded in 1989, that is devoted to helping families achieve multigenerational success for their families, ownership groups, enterprises, and financial wealth.

Ms. Jeanjean is an international management communications teacher and executive coach. She counsels and educates executives and their teams to improve their performance and global competitiveness. Her focus is helping individuals and teams reach their next level of potential and effectiveness. She designs and manages leadership development programs for companies around the world, and supports CEOs by developing their management teams with the skills, tools and frameworks to effectively manage the business.

In her family business advisory work, Ms. Jeanjean specializes in assisting next generation members to define their career goals, strengthen their management skills and style, and become effective leaders. She also works with board members, executive leadership, and management (family and non-family) to improve their performance and prepare them for future roles.

Ms. Jeanjean’s personal mission is to educate leaders who want to make a difference in the world. She teaches communications, strategic thinking, and leadership to managers worldwide. She designs and teaches workshops for executives at Harvard Business School on learning methods and communication strategies to improve their leadership effectiveness. She serves as a research associate at Harvard Business School where she supports faculty in researching global entrepreneurship and innovation. Her research interests include understanding how individuals learn, so she incorporates the latest research on learning styles and multiple intelligences to identify and grow unique strengths in the individuals she coaches. She was the first American teacher to receive the prestigious Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement from the Minister of Education in the United Arab Emirates in 2012 for her work educating young Arab professionals.

Ms. Jeanjean holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, M.A. from Tufts University, M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and MIT Sloan School of Management Executive Certificate. She holds professional certifications from Birkman and Hay Group. She is fluent in English, speaks some Portuguese, Spanish, and French, and is studying Arabic. Genet divides her time between offices in Boston, Paris and Dubai.
